June 28, 2016: Robbery in Chesapeake Yesterday

On June 27, 2016 at 5:15 p.m. a robbery was reported at Mama Lina’s on MacCorkle Avenue in Chesapeake, WV.  The caller said she was an employee at the business.  She described two white males entering the store, robbing her at gunpoint, tying her up, then stealing her personal vehicle as they fled.

Her vehicle was recovered in Marmet.  The robbery is being handled by detectives with the Kanawha Bureau of Investigation.  They are exploring the possibility this robbery was committed by the same suspects who robbed the Electric Beach salon in Nitro last week.

Attached are three still images from the video surveillance at Mama Lina’s.
