May 4, 2016: Drug Bust in Hugheston

This morning the Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office’s STOP Team served a search warrant in the 2000 block of Stephen’s Way in Hugheston.  At the same time they arrested a resident, Paul Fleet (50 years old of Hugheston), for possession with intent to deliver drugs.

While serving the search warrant two others texted Mr. Fleet indicating they would be bringing by more drugs for him to sell.  Cedric Coping (39 years old) and Brandon Overton (30 years old) of Montgomery came by and were arrested with crystal methamphetamine.  They were both charged with possession with intent to deliver controlled substances.

Altogether 11.9 grams of crystal methamphetamine, 1.9 grams of heroin, a small amount of marijuana, and a firearm were recovered.
The charges against Mr. Fleet, Mr. Coping, and Mr. Overton are merely accusations.  Each is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.  Attached are mug shots of each.
