Retirement
After 26 years of dedicated service to the citizens of Kanawha County, Lt. Delbert J. Roush III is retiring from the Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office.
Throughout his career, Lt. Roush has served in many roles, including a deputy in Field Operations, President of the Deputy Sheriff Association, Circuit Court Bailiff for the Honorable Judge Duke Bloom, and most recently as Shift Supervisor for D Shift.
Lt. Roush’s career reflects a proud family tradition of public service. For nearly a century, the Roush family has served the City of Charleston, Kanawha County, and the State of West Virginia through both law enforcement and firefighting.
His leadership, experience, and commitment to this community will be deeply missed. We wish him the very best in this next chapter of life.
