Meet Josie

Josie is one of our hardworking Bloodhounds with the Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office. She specializes in man trailing, using her incredible sense of smell to track missing people and fugitives.

Josie has already had several successful finds, helping locate lost children, dementia patients, and wanted suspects. Her dedication and skill make her an invaluable part of our team.

Josie works alongside her handler, Cpl. B.L. Kay, and together they make an outstanding duo serving the citizens of Kanawha County.
