Sissonville Man Arrested After SWAT Search Recovers Firearms and Suspected Marijuana
The Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office has arrested Alexander Franklin Rhodes, 27, of Sissonville, following an investigation into a reported domestic incident. Detectives obtained a warrant for felony Wanton Endangerment Involving a Firearm, Strangulation, and Domestic Assault.
On November 18, 2025, the KCSO SWAT Team executed a search warrant at Rhodes’ residence on Rich Fork Road. Rhodes was taken into custody without incident. During the search, deputies recovered multiple firearms and several pounds of suspected marijuana packaged in a manner consistent with distribution.
Rhodes was transported to the Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office for processing and later bonded out on a $10,000 cash only bond.
The investigation remains active, and additional charges may be pending.
Anybody that is arrested is to be presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
