K-9 Bingo’s First Night on the Job

Last night, along with his newly appointed K9 Handler Deputy Shamblin; K-9 Bingo officially hit the road for his first shift and his first time ever deploying from the patrol vehicle. He didn’t waste any time showing why he earned the badge.

During a traffic stop on I-64 conducted by Deputy Nichols, two males traveling from Indiana to North Carolina were found in possession of illegal narcotics. With K-9 Bingo’s assistance, deputies recovered:

• 21.21 grams of fentanyl

• 4.71 grams of cocaine

• 1.95 grams of methamphetamine

• 13.93 grams of marijuana

Not bad for night one.

Anybody that is arrested is to be presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
