The Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office is proud to announce Cpl. T.S. Dubiel as our 2025 Deputy of the Year

In 2025, Cpl. Dubiel served 112 warrants and ranked among department leaders in arrests, reports, and calls for service. As a Field Training Officer, he leads by example and sets a high standard for new deputies entering this profession.

Being named Deputy of the Year means representing our mission to the citizens of Kanawha County every single day. It reflects a commitment to enhancing the quality of life in our community by working in partnership with the people we serve to enforce the law, preserve the peace, protect the public, reduce fear, and maintain order. This recognition represents diligence, professionalism, and integrity in action, along with a dedication to solving the problems that create crime and disorder through strong, independent relationships between deputies and the community.
