Marshall “Andy” Priestley

Missing since February 29, 2016

On Wednesday, March 16, 2016, deputies were dispatched by Metro Communications to meet with Pamela Wade after she reported she could no longer reach her son, Marshall Priestley. Wade told deputies she had not seen or heard from him since February 29, 2016.

According to Wade, Priestley attended a custody hearing on February 29. After speaking with his attorney, he took money to his daughter, Michaela Priestley, at her place of employment. Wade stated the last time she communicated with her son was via text message on February 28, 2016. After delivering the money to his daughter, Priestley was never heard from again.

Concerned for his welfare, Wade attempted to check on him at his residence at 105 Christian Road in Cross Lanes, Kanawha County, West Virginia, but was unable to make contact.

Deputies also responded to the residence and were unable to locate Priestley or make contact with anyone at the home. While canvassing the area, deputies spoke with neighbors. One neighbor advised that Priestley had not been seen for several weeks and expressed concern that something may have happened to him.

Months after being reported as missing, a fire destroyed his home on Christian Road. It is unknown if this had anything to do with his disappearance.

Mr. Priestley has several tattoos on his body.

  • Tattoo sleeve on his right arm featuring Grateful Dead imagery
  • Tattoo of a Grateful Dead guitar on his right lower leg
  • Tattoo across his shoulder blades with the word “Brandi,” a male face, and female eyes
  • Wording tattooed on his lower back
  • Scar on his left forearm from a work accident, later covered with a Native American figure tattoo

Marshall Priestley was subsequently entered into the National Crime Information Center as a missing person, entry number M923134757.
