The Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office wants to make everyone aware and we are being AS BLUNT AS POSSIBLE:

If you are instructed to deposit money into a Bitcoin ATM for ANY REASON, you are being scammed.

No law enforcement agency, court, business, or government office will ever ask you to do this.

Do not send the money.
Call 911 immediately. Call 911 if anybody asks you to use a Bitcoin ATM Machine.

WE DO NOT WANT A SINGLE PERSON IN KANAWHA COUNTY TO FALL FOR THIS SCAM AGAIN! It’s happening too often.
