KCSO Hosted Training

Today, several of our Kanawha County Sheriff Deputy Firearm Instructors hosted and taught Close Quarters Combat (CQB) training, providing 16 hours of in-service training to fellow law enforcement and military personnel. This training focused on room clearing, movement, communication, and decision-making in confined spaces.

We’re proud to be able to provide this training and work alongside other agencies to help ensure everyone goes home safe at the end of the day. Training like this strengthens partnerships, improves coordination between agencies, and prepares personnel for real-world situations where teamwork and proper tactics matter most.
