Deputy Spotlight
DEPUTY SPOTLIGHT
If you’ve ever driven around Kanawha County and seen someone stopping traffic for a turtle, a frog, or even a not-so-thrilled possum, there’s a solid chance it was Sgt. Adams. Her love for animals is only matched by her commitment to protecting the people in this community.
If you’ve ever driven around Kanawha County and seen someone stopping traffic for a turtle, a frog, or even a not-so-thrilled possum, there’s a solid chance it was Sgt. Adams. Her love for animals is only matched by her commitment to protecting the people in this community.
Recently, we came across a comment from Adam Cooper that said:
“When I was down and out in addiction and alcohol had a death grip on me at my lowest, she showed me so much kindness and made me feel like a human. I’ll never forget how she treated me when she didn’t have to.”
Adam is now 17 months sober.
That’s the kind of impact Sgt. Adams has. It’s not just about enforcement, it’s about compassion, dignity, and treating people like they matter, even on their worst days.
We’re proud to have Sgt. Adams serving our community.
