Kanawha County Public Safety Levy

Sheriff Joseph Crawford recently sat down with WSAZ NewsChannel 3 Reporter Charlie Roth to discuss the Kanawha County Public Safety Levy and what it means for our community. This levy supports essential services across Kanawha County, including law enforcement, fire departments, EMS, and the Kanawha Valley Regional Transportation Authority (KRT) public bus system—services our citizens rely on every day. It’s important to understand that voting YES for this levy does not increase taxes. This is the same levy that voters in Kanawha County have consistently supported for over 50 years to help maintain and strengthen public services. Public safety and reliable transportation aren’t luxuries—they’re necessities.
