STOLEN SIDE-BY-SIDE | CROSS LANES 

The Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s assistance with a grand larceny investigation in Cross Lanes.

Deputies are investigating the theft of a side-by-side Utility Task Vehicle (UTV) from BRI Storage, located at 4186 Washington Street West in Cross Lanes, WV. 

The incident occurred shortly after midnight on Friday, August 28, 2026, when two suspects, wearing hoodies and masks, breached the property by cutting a hole in the security fence.

Stolen Vehicle Description:

Make/Model: 2024 Kawasaki Ridge

Color: Green and black with a distinct white hood

Features: Aftermarket 31-inch black wheels and dark tinted windows

Additional Details: A large Yeti cooler was in the rear cargo bed at the time of the theft.
