Bullying

Walk with confidence, keep your head up, and keep your back straight.

Be aware of your surroundings.  If you know of trouble spots, avoid them.

Set limits on what others can do to you before you respond.  Do not let others touch you without a response.  When someone grabs you or pokes you reply by firmly saying, “Stop!”

Talk with your parents about when and how to use physical self-defense as a last resort.  Know when you are allowed and supposed to fight back to stop someone from hurting you.
